2014 Nashville Go Red For Women Campaign

Most women don’t notice the symptoms of heart disease until it’s too late. That’s why heart disease has been called the silent killer. But we won’t be silent. We will Speak Red! until every woman in Greater Nashville and beyond knows heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women—killing more women than all forms of cancer combined.

In the first 10 years of Go Red For Women:

  • Nearly 1 million women have joined the movement
  • 34% fewer women are dying of heart disease each year
  • 330 fewer women are dying every day
  • 627,000 women’s lives have been saved But There’s Still More Work To Be Done…
  • 1 in 3 women still die each year
  • 1,200 women are still dying every day
  • Only 25% of women have increased their physical activity
  • Only 56% of women know that heart disease is their No. 1 killer

We need you! Join us by providing your time, financial support and network to our cause!
